Happy Halloween
Fun Fact: "In the late 1800's Young women believed that on Halloween they could divine the name or appearance of their future husband by doing tricks with yarn, apple parings or mirrors." This is totally something you could see me doing in my younger years, little did I know when I was 12-14 I rubbed elbows with my future husband a couple of times before actually meeting him, you never know... Have a happy halloween!

Like Audrey
What do me and Audrey have in common you ask? Well it could be the grace, the style, the sing-song voice OR her bangs. Yes I have Audrey's Bangs--not by choice, but rather by having a baby. It is a common pregnancy side affect. You may be suffering from Audrey's Bangs if you have the following symptoms...hair falling out in clumps, baldness, fresh hair growth, need for washing hair everyday since the new hair sticks up in the mornings, and an excessive need for hairspray. It is said but true, I am suffering from Audrey's bangs and I am convinced that this trend was started by women who had recently had a baby. Now the question is should we try and bring it back?

Office Time
It's that time of the year again, to paint now or wait till spring. I am voting for now so lets get this office going. I have been collecting ideas for my office for awhile now on my pinterest and I finally think I have the direction I want to take it in! Most of my office furniture is white, so my color scheme will be white furniture, grey walls, purple curtains and mercury glass accents. Below I found some great things from Urban Outfitters that is on my wishlist.
And this bottom set are some great offices with great organization and decor.

I'm so glad when Nana's in town
This weekend my mom flew up to visit me--when I say me, I really mean Addie--and my sister Alexa. We went shopping, and shopping and eating and shopping. Adelaide has a whole new winter wardrobe now, and I picked up a few things for me along the way. My mom's trip wouldn't have been complete without a trip to Kneaders, we love that place. Best quote of the trip...
Mom: "Look at all these families shopping together in the mall, who does that?"
Me: "uhh, OUR family! why do you think I was so embarrassed to walk with you guys when I was 14??"
Mom: "Ya but these families have like FIVE kids!"
Me: "We had four..."

Parenting at it's finest
Last week me and miss Lulu went on our weekly trip to Target, Old Navy, Hobby Lobby and the Post Office. While on these errands she fell asleep I covered her with her little car seat canopy (that my wonderful mother in law made for me) and proceeded to finish up and head home. I set her down in the kitchen and peeked in and found this little gem. Her headband had slipped off around her neck. I quickly proceed to take it off--after I snapped a picture of course.

Favorite Things Friday
Jack LaLanne Juicer-Costco $90
This little sucker will juice almost anything. Peter got it as a birthday gift from my parents in May and we debated taking it back for 4 months! Talk about commitment issues. Once we cracked it open it has been in full use every week. This week I drank 3 carrots, 2 peaches, 2 small apples half a large cucumber and some lettuce in one sitting. The only downside to not blending it up in a blender is you don't get all that fiber. I will post some juice recipes if I find any exceptional ones. Happy Weekend!

C is for Camping and Conference
This weekend we went camping and boating on Utah Lake. It was Addie's first camping trip and she was a champ. She may or may not have woken up with ice cold hands...Bad Mommy! But the rest of her was nice and toasty through the night. There is nothing like the close of the summer with a day on the lake! Good bye boat, we will miss you. Until June? Holy crap that is far away.
And then to welcome fall we watched General Conference. I love all the good food and good talks that go along with Conference. My favorite being sis. Dalton's "Husbands be kind to your wives!"
